PNA-UK seeks to work together with the nursing groups to promote the interests of nursing and the public. In essence, PNA-UK is committed to professional networking cognizant of the fact that the attainment of its mission/vision is optimized by its continuing collaboration and at times, affiliation with other nursing organizations. However, this does not preclude the formation of PNA-UK with its unique role in the professional and personal growth and advancement of its members, the Filipino nurse.
PNA-UK aims to unite all the nursing organizations currently existing today by setting standards and collaborating together efforts and resources.
In summary, PNA-UK is the Umbrella Organization of Filipino Nurses in theUnited Kingdom. PNA-UK is the confederation of various nursing organizations, associations and societies in theUnited Kingdom.

Yes. As a matter of policy, PNA-UK will recognize and extend your PNA membership from other chapters. You are also given the full member benefits and services.
To be considered a member of good standing, you must have duly satisfied the requirements for membership as stated in the New Constitution and By-Laws.
If you are a member of good standing from another PNA Chapter, PNA-UK will recognize your previous membership provided proof of membership of good standing is presented and upon membership check with your declared chapter.
I am a Lifetime Member of another PNA Chapter; can I still be a part of PNA-UK?
Yes. PNA-UK will recognize and extend your PNA Lifetime Membership from another chapter, provided proof of Lifetime Membership is presented. You are also given the full member benefits and services.

PNA-UK is 100% organized, managed and operated by Filipino Nurses currently here in the United Kingdom.
PNA-UK is a non-profit professional organization.
PNA-UK is managed and operated by voluntary members who run the association without remuneration and are solely dedicated in improving the nursing association as a whole.
Will PNA-UK turn to business ventures in the future?
No. As mandated in its New Constitution and By-Laws, PNA-UK was, is and will always be a non-profit organizations committed to serving the various needs of the Filipino Nurse.
The Officers of the Association are committed to source out the best available service and products for and in-behalf of the members. The Officers of the Association simply acts to represent the members in securing the best available deals in terms of market and service, without personal interest and remuneration.
All services, discounts and market benefits that the association forges with external business establishments for and in-behalf of the member are given back to the members directly.
What is the level of commitment you expect from your members? I do not want to be a member because I cannot attend all the meetings or participate in its activities. I am too busy with my life already. I do not want to be half-committed so I will not join until I am ready for the commitment.
Just like any organization with a mission, PNAUKexpects its members to contribute to the fulfillment of its mission. However, we do understand that the personal life of each member is unique and therefore the level of commitment varies. PNAUKdoes not condone commitment to the organization that is detrimental to one's personal and family life. Yet, sacrifice is called for intermittently so that others can benefit and not just self. Our nation and our world need people who can share their God-given talents not just for themselves but also for others so that the greater majority can benefit.

PNA-UK membership will be recognized by other PNA Chapters worldwide as long as the membership is valid and not expired.
Why is there an annual membership fee to join PNA UK?
As in any non-profit organization, PNA UKdepends on the generosity and benevolence of its members and other supporting members of the community for it to operate a professional organization. Its leaders and members do not receive any financial compensation while giving their time and effort to achieve the group's mission/vision. It is therefore imperative that PNA UK requires a nominal membership fee to cover its operating expenses in exchange for invaluable and sincere service for free to advance its goals.
How long will my membership be valid?
PNA-UK membership is valid for one-year from date of issue. Membership should be renewed every year. After being a member for three consecutive years, members can then apply for Lifetime membership.
You can also immediately apply for Lifetime Membership. All you have to do is pay in advance the annual fee for three (3) years plus the lifetime membership application fee.
How long does it take to process my membership?
Fill-up the membership form, pay your membership dues and you will instantly be listed as a member of the PNA-UK. Once your membership is processed you will receive a new membership packet in the mail with your new membership card.
