Philippine Nurses Association of United Kingdom

The Philippine Nurses Association of United Kingdom (PNA-UK) is a non-profit professional Organization of Filipino Nurses currently in the United Kingdom.The association was created in response to the growing number of Filipino Nurses in the United Kingdom. The Philippine Nursing Association of United Kingdom has laid out a set of vision, mission, and goals, as well as a statement of core values, strategic directions and key outcomes in accordance with the PNA National Office in Manila, Philippines. These statements serve as the Association’s foundation for setting priorities and making decisions.

The Association will not only lay the basis for establishing a harmonized body of Filipino Nurses within the United Kingdom, but will also take into account the need for professional training and raising awareness about the circumstances surrounding Filipino Nurses here and elsewhere. These are the key issues to help enable a high percentage of Filipino Nurses to become successful in the Nursing Profession.

The Association is focused on the needs of the Filipino Nurses in the United Kingdom; however, it will also pay special attention to other Filipino Nurses outside the geographical boundaries of the United Kingdom should the need arise.

The Association will closely cooperate with other professional organizations and associations, including those within the private and public sector.

As an Accredited Filipino Professional Organization, PNA-UK aims to provide social, medical and professional services to individual members and non-members, with the language, cultural and professional capacity to serve Filipino Nurses in the United Kingdom and in the Philippines.
